Suzhou Dongwu Silk Weaving Mill has a long history starting from 1919 and enjoys remarkable fame at home and abroad. With the integrated production capacity of weaving, spinning and apparel making, mainly producing fabrics of pure silk, mixed woven silk and chemical filament for exportation, the mill is one of the key large-scale and the only Grade I state enterprise in China silk industry.
